      The starling is a majestic bird, celebrated for its gracefully synchronized aerial murmurations that paint the sky with mesmerizing patterns. These birds are a familiar sight in the Nordic countryside, particularly during late fall and early spring. I’ve always cherished the moments when they appear in the fields, their movements a dance of nature. Occasionally, they venture closer to our home, and it was during one of these visits that I truly recognized their captivating beauty.

      The starlings in this design are adorned with exquisite hand-embroidery using whole silk stitching and delicate glass pearls. This intricate embroidery technique is recognized on UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage list, adding a touch of timeless artistry to the design.
