      The Starling in its Summer Coat

      Handpainted Wallpaper

      The Starling is the stunning bird that appears in the fields around my home in the late fall and early spring. The beauty of the bird is perfectly manifested through using precious silk and metallic garns. We recommend finishing this design with handembroidered elements.

       

      The Starling design is 18 panels (90 cm each) long in its standard composition.

      Each wallpaper is made for order and usually adjusted for the space.

      Lead time: 12-16 weeks.

      The painted area in this design is 150 cm high.  This makes the design is very versatile and well suitable for both low ceiling height and for very high rooms. When the room is very high, there is  possibility to add textile under the painted area. By doing this one can create a sensation of the birds flying high up in the sky. Nevertheless, it is equally beautiful when placed in the height of the eye, when one can easily admire the beauty of the craft.
