Care instructions

This stunning velvet pillow should be handwashed as dry cleaning may damage the structure and feel of the textile. When washing in the machine, we recommend removing the textile promptly after the cycle is complete to reduce wrinkles.

Turn the item inside out and place it in a mesh bag bundle to protect it in the machine.

Select the delicate cycle on your washing machine and make sure the water temperature is cold and the spin is on low. Add delicate washing detergent considering the machine type and load size.

Luigi Bevilacqua stands as one of the premier silk velvet weavers globally, boasting a heritage dating back to 1499. Today, Bevilacqua looms continue to operate at full capacity in the heart of Venice, Italy.

The renowned stature of Luigi Bevilacqua soared to prominence with the iconic interior design project at the Kennedy White House during the 1960s. Collaborating with the esteemed Old World Weavers, led by late Iris Apfel and her husband Carl Apfel, these luxurious textiles adorned the White House alongside First Lady Jackie Kennedy. This elegant transformation remains a pinnacle of White House design, celebrated for its enduring refinement and cultural significance.
